A few practical answers.

Which games can I host?

Project Zomboid, Enshrouded and Valheim. Each has its own server settings, and the features that only one game supports, such as Workshop mods for Project Zomboid and Thunderstore mods for Valheim, appear only on its servers.

How does beta access work?

HostForge is in beta, and beta servers are free. Each account can run one free Co-op server, for any of the games, for up to 8 players (10 for Valheim). To switch games, delete your server first or request a custom server for a larger group.

How long is it free?

HostForge stays free until further notice, and no end date is set. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before that changes, and you can download your world at any time.

Where are the servers?

In North America and the EU, on dedicated hardware. Choose the region closest to your players when you create the server.

What can I do in the community directory?

Browse public servers of every game by name, status and region, and see live player activity before joining.
